Neck lipo (Local Anesthesia) is a cosmetic procedure used to remove excess fat from the neck and chin area. The procedure is usually done with local anesthesia, meaning only the treatment area is numbed with numbing medication, and the patient is awake during the procedure. During the procedure, a long thin cannula (tube) is inserted through small incisions in the skin to suction out the excess fat. The procedure typically takes about an hour and usually results in an improved neck contour and a more defined jawline.
