Tooth Extraction
Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone. This procedure is performed when a tooth is severely decayed, damaged beyond repair, or causes crowding and alignment issues.
Extractions can be simple, involving only the visible part of the tooth, or surgical, requiring removal of bone or cutting of gum tissue.
Following extraction, patients are advised on care to promote healing and prevent complications such as infection or dry socket.
