Penis Enlargement
Penis enlargement surgery, also known as penile enhancement, is a procedure aimed at increasing the length and/or girth of the penis. It can be performed for cosmetic reasons or to address psychological concerns related to body image and self-confidence.
There are two primary techniques used:
• Lengthening: Involves releasing the suspensory ligament that attaches the penis to the pubic bone, allowing more of the internal shaft to become visible externally.
• Girth enhancement: Achieved through fat grafting, dermal fillers, or synthetic implants to increase the circumference of the penis.
This procedure is typically performed under general anesthesia, and recovery can take several weeks. Patients are advised to avoid sexual activity for at least 4 to 6 weeks post-surgery.
It is important to note that realistic expectations and psychological evaluation are key parts of the pre-operative process, as results and satisfaction can vary from person to person.
