Jaw augmentation, also known as mandibular enhancement, is a surgical procedure designed to improve the definition, projection, and symmetry of the jawline. It is commonly sought by individuals who have a weak or recessed jaw, or who wish to achieve a more defined and balanced lower face.

The procedure can involve the placement of custom or pre-formed implants along the jawbone, or the use of the patient’s own bone or soft tissue. In some cases, it may be combined with chin augmentation or facial liposuction for more comprehensive contouring.
