Extended Neck Lift

Extended Neck Lift
Extended neck lift is a more comprehensive version of the traditional neck lift. It not only targets the skin and fat under the chin and jawline but also addresses a wider area, including the lower face, deep neck structures, and even some chest contouring near the clavicle if needed.

This procedure is ideal for patients with significant skin laxity, vertical neck bands, and accumulated fat that extends beyond the typical neck area. It involves more extensive muscle tightening (especially platysmaplasty), fat removal, and skin redraping to achieve a sharper, younger neck and jaw contour.

Incisions are made behind the ears and often under the chin. In some cases, additional incisions near the chest area may be used to achieve optimal results.

Recovery can take slightly longer than a standard neck lift — typically 2 to 3 weeks — but it offers more dramatic, long-lasting results for patients with advanced signs of aging in the neck and lower face.
