Belt Lift Surgery
Belt Lift Surgery, also known as Lower Body Lift, is a comprehensive body contouring procedure that addresses loose, sagging skin and residual fat around the entire midsection — including the abdomen, flanks, lower back, and buttocks. It is most commonly performed on patients who have experienced massive weight loss and are left with excess skin that cannot retract naturally.
The procedure involves an extended circumferential incision around the waistline, allowing the surgeon to lift and tighten the abdominal wall, reshape the flanks and back, and elevate the buttocks. In some cases, it is combined with liposuction to enhance body contour.
Belt lift is a transformative surgery that restores a more youthful, toned body shape and improves skin quality and comfort. It typically requires general anesthesia and a hospital stay of 1–2 nights. Recovery may take a few weeks, and compression garments are often used to support healing.
